Felt extremely rushed and was told I can only have 1 issue dealt with and have to make another appointment next week to discuss the excruciating pain I'm in with my left arm, and repeat prescription of antidepressants that I'm not meant to just stop taking. I put the issues on the request form, so the appointment should have been made longer if that's what was needed for the doctor to deal with my issues. I have 2 disabled children, one with severe mental health issues so it's not easy me making appointments for myself in the first place. Really not had a good time at this GP. I've been a patient for 50 years, and I have to say it's never been this bad! It's been on a constant decline for years |

Absolutely disgusting service. I work shifts so can not come into the surgery to book an appointment at 8am (as soon as the doors open - as advised by the receptionist!) I ring from work and carry my phone around with me, being in queue position 15 is no joke when working! Sometimes being in the queue for an hour! To then be informed - ‘all appointments have been taken, call again or come into the surgery at 8am??’ This surgery is appalling! What has happened to it? Surely, Covid can not be to blame now? The reception staff are rude and the doctors make me feel rushed when they ring without a time slot! No face-to-face appointments…ever! Surely this is a call centre and NOT a well managed, functional service? I have often missed call-back due to working? To have to start this ridiculous process all over again! I believe they have far too many patients - something needs to be done! Patients are being let down, massively!! However, the surgery believes they provide a ‘good service?’ Pardon?! Why can’t this GP service function like others? Something needs to be done ASAP!! |

Last 3 times I have tried to see a GP and been unable to. Twice out of those times I have ended up in hospital, maybe getting on medication needed earlier would have helped as severe asthma. The two times before this when I have had telephone appointments, they do not give you time of the appointment, just expect you to be available and then both times said actually I will need to see you face to face same afternoon. Double handling of appointments isn’t the way surely? Better triage would avoid patients having 2 appointments a day. |
