I am 73 years old and this is the best practice i have eve been registered with. the doctors and nursing staff always show care and consideration to my family. They all make us feel at ease when we visit and their kind and caring nature means a great deal to us. we really could not ask for better. The reception staff are mostly kind and caring but some (not all) can be quite abrupt at times. Reply from The Whitswood Practice Tue, 14 Nov 2017 16:01:23 Z Thank you very much Jean for your kind words. It means a great deal to us to hear such positive praise from our patients, and you rightly recognise that all our members of staff do care deeply about our patients. We hope that you, your family and all of our patients continue to experience the practice as a safe and caring environment. Thank you also for raising a small piece of constructive criticism of our reception team, which will help us continue to improve our service. |

Ive been at this GP for over ten years and will be looking for a new surgery as from today. The surgery has gone downhill and you never see the same GP. You have to wait at least 20mins after your appointment to be seen as the GP never see's you on time. Once you do get in they rush you out. Last week I waited over 30mins to be seen, despite the GP informing me to come back and see them, the GP didn't know what I had came back for! I was in for 5mins. Receptionists - On my last visit the receptionist had the shutters half way down during opening hours. I went to them knowing that they had seen me and they just left me there waiting. No greeting or anything. Then I had to bend halfway down to speak as they deliberately left the shutters half way down. There is no customer service in this surgery and they all seem to work together to cover up each others mistakes. Making it seem like you are the one in the wrong. The receptionists really need to be trained on Customer Service skills, especially as people going to the Surgery may be in vulnerable circumstances. |
