I restrict interaction with your surgery to a minimum and usually ask only for a repeat prescription. My problems only usually arise when you require something from me, such as a 'tick the box' visit. Now, however, your Patient Access `Service has decided to intervene and decide I am no longer responsible for representing myself! It has rejected my ability to re-order, and I notified you. You have now told me I must visit the surgery, to pick up new details and prove who I am. My responses, also by e-mail have been rejected, unread. Whilst I appreciate that one particular staff member is a busy person, why does this explain that I have to come in and clear up a fault that was not mine? I really do appreciate that this staff member has acted promptly, and in the interest of getting this sorted out, but I am confused as to why I have to identify myself again, when you clearly have my private e-mail, and telephone number and the service is for a repeat prescription that can only be collected from our surgery by myself or my wife? To establish my identity, I understand, but the reason for it eludes me. Your farmed out Patient Access Service caused this, yet I am expected to run around, finding documents to show them who I am? As Patient Access cannot believe who I am, they should visit me, at my convenience, and explain why they froze my account (Again) I can state, with absolute clarity that Steven is, and has always been Steven, Your hired in services should get it right. Their actions reflect on a surgery that is, otherwise, making serious efforts to improve it's in house services. |

When my grandmother passed last year the assistance hopwood medical provided not only to her end of life care but to us all emotionally was amazing. I cannot put into words how much this meant to our family.
The facilities at the practice are first call and highly recommend such a caring environment

I brought my daughter to see the Doctor about her acne which was really getting her down. I was able to book an appointment on a Thursday evening which was really convenient. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The Doctor was lovely to my daughter. They really listened and cared and started treatments to help. We have recently moved to the practice and are so glad we moved. It's nice to be treated so well. Thank you you're doing a really good job. I would definitely recommend Hopwood Medical Centre to everyone. |
