I’ve been with The Village Surgery for over 20 years and have never failed to be given an appointment when I’ve phoned at 8am. The doctors and nursing staff always give excellent service. |

Awful I’ve been trying to book an appointment for my daughter for weeks. Advised with different times and asked to use the request to call back. I have followed every rote advised to get an appointment and still nothing. When I spoke to the receptionist she Abruptly told me I hadn’t filled in a request form. I asked if I could send her in prof as I had recieved a text message confirming the doctors had received the request and would be in contact and her response was ‘no’ just ‘no’ she wouldn’t listen and refused to give me her name so I cant file a complaint. I spoke calmly and advised her how I had this call recorded at no point did she have any intent on resolving that matter. Soooo back to square one. No appointments after waiting for 3 weeks. Ridiculous I have been at this practice since the age of 5 I am now 36 I have never ever experienced this level of arrogance and unprofessionalism. I understand as being a receptionist it mustn’t be easy however, I feel like nobody is listening and clearly no empathy is being shown when the practice is at fault. |

Rude practise manager with no bedside manner. Very unhelpful and with not an ounce of compassion or empathy! |
