Refusing to see a 3 year old with asthma. Let's hope nothing happens as Il be holding this place fully responsible. Absolutely disgusting. All because I didn't call at 8 am. As she didn't have any coughing or breathing problems then. Not even the decenty to say any cancellations and il get her in very unhelpful. Looks like il be calling the emergency doctors in stockport instead. You'd think as it costs them more they'd at least try. Changing docs ASAP ?????? |

I called the surgery explaining I was in pain and needed an appointment or a prescription for antibiotics, I was assured I’d receive a call the same afternoon. I called back at 5pm to see I was still going to get a call I appreciate they are busy but I was trying to save an appointment. They told me I would definitely get a call before the surgery closed. The doctor called me at 6:33 3 minutes after the surgery was closed to tell me I needed to be seen but there was nothing they could do so either go to A&E or put up with the pain until the morning to try and call back for an appointment. |

I have had the privilege of being a patient at this most excellent of GP practises for over 6 years.
The doctors are excellent. They execute their roles with professionalism and compassion, they are the bench mark to which all GPs should aspire to.
The nursing staff are wonderful, they are efficient, professional, learned and friendly.
The 'front of house' team are also excellent. They always answer the phones with patience and courtesy, they are helpful and caring and are a beacon of excellence that all other doctors receptionists should aspire to.
I have also had cause to deal with the secretaries and the practise manager and again their approach is exemplary.
I cannot praise Brinnington Health Centre enough. If all GP practises followed their example then patients would have no need to complain |
