i have just tried to book an appointment for the 5th day in a row without any joy, while using the APP when you get to choose gender it wont let you and cant go onto make an appointment. keep trying to ring but cant get through and when you do they say cant get you in. this is putting loads of pressure on 111 and Ae departments, you can only see a doctor same day if you go to AE which is not fair on them, they already work far more hours than the practice. i work in the motor industry and since covid we have changed the way we operate and hours to suit clients clearly something you have not done, I am in to see the nurse on the 29th after waiting over 3 weeks for has your letter states a 20min appointment with the nurse. I will ask her for advise but no doubt will be told to try and arrange to see a Doctor. I will be surprised if anyone contacts me over this but the system is not good enough. Ron Bentham | ||||||

During a recent family illness, I was grateful that the surgery were able to offer same-day appointments to each member of the family that needed to be seen. I hear so many complaints about the difficulty in obtaining appointments, which I understand is due to nationwide difficulties in funding and staffing practices. I expect to wait for a routine, non-urgent appointment, but appreciate how easy it has been to make an appointment when we really needed it. Plus the staff present as unhurried, focussed and caring. | ||||||

I've been rather fortunate in that I have a chronic condition that allows me regular check ups with my preferred physician. I like not having to go over my history repeatedly with a different Dr every time I visit. I understand that may not be the case for emergency care. All the doctors I've seen have been patient and caring. | ||||||
