A telephone appointment made on 1630 and waiting the call in front of the phone. I tested and made sure the phone is available during the waiting period. Made sure no any call dialed-in and call GP for enquiry at 1645. The reception replied that the doctor has called you twice but in vain so that the appointment has been cancelled and another appointment at 0830 has been arranged on the next morning ( Wednesday ). However, on the Wednesday morning, I wait the call in front of the phone and tested for made sure the phone is available again. The same result that no any call dialed-in. I called GP again on 0945 but surprised that, the GP telephone recording replied that the GP has been closed and please call again in the weekdays! |

After trying for nearly three weeks to get through to the surgery via phone I finally succeeded at lunchtime today. The lady who answered was extremely helpful and polite, although I'm disappointed that I am having to wait until 5th March (over 4 weeks away) to be able to attend for a routine test at Delamere - not Edgeley.
I work full-time and therefore need morning or evening appointments, these still seem to be like gold dust and I'm not surprised people get frustrated!
Whenever I've attended the surgery all staff have been friendly, courteous and helpful it's just frustrating it is so difficult to access healthcare. |
