Absolutely disgraceful service! Fortunately I don't need to contact the Drs often but each time I have, there is no success in obtaining an appointment and I've had to contact 111. 111 have then sent me to Tameside hospital. Tameside hospital have give me medication and advised if the symptoms persist, speak with my Dr !!! Guess what, can't get an appointment and will have to speak with 111 again.....thank goodness for the professionals and staff at 111. An official or Government organisation needs to step in and get this surgery sort, now! for too long the service has been seriously failing! |

This practice is unsafe. Today 5/9/22 I attended with my husband for a non urgent appointment he booked weeks ago. The doctor a Dr Adeniyi proceeded to read MRI report and confidentiality told my husband it was wear and tear of his knee. Luckily I am also in the medical profession an able to read EMIS…I asked him to print said report….it clearly states “tear to medial meniscus”! Pointed his mistake out to him and he brushed it off saying “oh yes I must have missed that” No attention to detail. I then had to interject that he needed a referral to orthopaedics as he didn’t seem to be aware that it may need surgery as not healing. Moved on to HBa1C results….this has increased by 10 points….again he did not see an issue until I pointed it out. Prescribed Ozempic without weighing him (I believe the gold standard is to get a start weight) Utterly disgraceful and downright dangerous. To add to this reception gave out a self referral form from a box that has another patients details already printed on them, a box of forms they’ve been giving out for months….so massive data breach. Shall be contacting NHS England. |

After finally getting a face to face after weeks I explained to the doctor that I think I have have gout in my right ankle her response was to examine my knee so she did not listen to start with. Then second she asked my why I thought it was gout I explained the symptoms so I said it sounds like gout. It took her longer to put a glove on the it did for her to look at my ankle one glance she said bloods will be required. She then said I will give you some tablets and some more tablets as the one she was giving me would upset my stomach I said I’m allergic to penicillin and I also explained about my heart condition to her shock even though it’s in my records she then tells me the tablets she was giving me would of effected my heart so could of killed me she then said Ill give you some pain killers as though everything was fine and the fact she hasn’t even looked at my records and was giving me tablets that could kill me. This after waiting an hour because she was running behind. How this surgery has been closed down is beyond me. |
