I don’t know why, but the practice has implemented a new booking system where you can only use askmyGP for a certain time in the morning. If you miss the slot then you just can’t request any help or book an appointment until the next day. It’s ridiculous and the old system was much better where you could submit any request throughout the day. They already have huge restrictions on what you can request over the phone, and now have restricted online help too. |

I took my 85 year old mother in law the see the clinical pharmacist to through her medication and I was pleasantly surprised at how he took his time with her and made her feel relaxed and at ease. We was there for at least 35 to 40 minutes with no feeling of being rush or that he was in a hurry, he explained that this was a pilot scheme that had been roll out in some surgeries and I must say I hope they roll this out to all VERY IMPRESSED |

The online system is a joke at this practice they only allow you to make request between 8am and by 9:30 am it’s full you have to wait for the next day. I understand this system for urgent same day appointments but I don’t understand the logic behind it for routine appointments. How are people who can come online between that time due to work commitments meant to be obtaining routine appointments? It’s making access to health care so so difficult and although the doctors are amazing and once you actually do an appointment you receive great care, the exercise to get there is not right. In addition to this the reception girls are actually very very rude when you attempt to voice out your frustration at the system. That’s when uou actually manage to speak to someone because a lot of the times you would be position one in the queue and still hold for 25 mins before your call is answered to be talked to rudely on the phone. |
