This practice is terrible to say the least it is more like a dictatorship they call you for you to book a appointment for a medication review and you ask them for a late appointment and the answer we don’t do any for prescription reviews WELL I work and the earliest I can get there is 5-30pm answer well they might stop your medication by that time I lost the rag said if you want to stop it just ruddy do it I will be making a complaint with NHS England about this practice and as previous comments about not getting face to face with a doctor is true this surgery was one off the last to come out off not providing a service to patients and you still struggle I sometimes wonder if there are doctors there pathetic service I have paid my taxes and my contributions my point what for |

I have been with this practice for 30 years. It used to be one of the best in the area, it was a caring practice, where you could easily get an appointment and see a doctor. However, the service now provided has deteriorated in many ways, to the point where you can’t even see a Doctor. The initial ‘ringing to make an appointment ‘ is a frustration. The ordeal begins at 8.30am and usually continues until we’ll after 9am, just continuously ringing to try and get through to the receptionist. Then by the time you get through, more often than not, there are no appointments left. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, it is invariably with a nurse and it is a call back, with no specified time (which is really useful when you are at work) Recent test results, I have had to chase up the results. There’s been no follow up or continuity of treatment. The e-consult form seems to be the way forward. Which this again is a minefield of irrelevant questions and then a waiting game. When you are ill, you don’t want to face a load of obstacles in seeking medical help/ intervention. What happened to the good ‘old fashioned’ uncomplicated way of phoning up to make an appointment (or popping in to the actual practice to make an appointment) then been given a choice of times? To actually see a Doctor is a rarity. I don’t know the names of the GP’s at this practice anymore. If I don’t know the names of the Doctors, how do they know me, as a patient. |
