My sons been in agony for 8 weeks visited the gp numerous time and still haven't received a diagnosis, they don't listen, and without going into great detail I ended up taking my son to hospital today due to severe pain and was told his diagnosis should have been picked up and treated earlier, going back to hospital tomorrow as now require surgery. Triage system as they call it is the most pointless, frustrating system, it would be fine if you don't work and have time to wait by the phone for them to call you back. I call on my rare day off in the week dead on 8:00am and wait 2 1/2 hrs for a call back only to be told there are no appointments today we can offer you one in 2 days time! Not a lot of good when I'm at work is it, then asks me why didn't I call before? Let me think because I'm at work!!I would call from work on my break to book an appointment but you won't let me you have to call me back and I can't take calls at work. So here I am having been in agony for a fortnight and I have to wait another 2 weeks for my next day off in the week for an appointment. I have also been going to them about the same issue for approx 3 years and am no closer to finding out what the problem is ?? | ||||||
