I have been lucky enough to be with this practice for 12 years. During that time I have seen a decline in the NHS when talking to friends who live in towns. Some of them have to wait 3 months to see a doctor. Here, in the Yorkshire Dales we will ALWAYS be seen at the surgery. Granted this means sometimes a wait in the surgery but we get attention. They are forward thinking and caring. Thank you for the service. |

Not being a keen attender at the Doctor’s surgery I turned up and expected to turned away and have to come back another day. I had to wait a while but saw my GP later that morning.
After providing samples I was referred by them to get a more detailed check in hospital.
The hospital appointment came through quite quickly at James Cook.
I was treated well there and they told me to get another appointment with my doctor. this was made to suit me and I was given the results of the test. Surgery was not necessary and the drugs prescribed worked. |

Everything is fine EXCEPT for the website problem when attempting to renew our prescriptions. SO complicated. It's taken an hour to try and find out how to do it online and I ended in having to ring yet again to find the correct website/email address. Then - far too much box ticking required - a regrettable state to which our society is now obliged to use. How can you simplify this? When will companies/organisations/networks realise they have to learn to use their intelligence to deal with their customers/patients etc. and likewise regard us and our intelligence - AS THEY ALWAYS DID IN THE PAST! We are People not Autominans. |
