Eventually get through on the telephone at 10.20 am after trying for 1 hr and 20 mins asked for a prescription and was told prescription would be ready at reception later that day. Drove up to the surgery and asked at the reception for the prescription and it was wrong so I asked if the prescription could be amended but there were no doctors available till after 4.00pm and a doctor would telephone me at home. Doctor rang but didnt have the relevant documents needed to process the prescription at hand, they were in reception and I was told they would ring back. I had to ring at 5.30 as the chemist closes at six pm and the meds were needed asap as the Leeds Hospital had instructed and was told the doctor would ring me later. The doctor rang and we discussed what was required and was told the prescription would be ready 5 mins before the chemist closed. When I took the prescription to the chemist it was wrong yet again!!! The chemist had closed before the prescription could be amended for a third time. The meds requested are for severe pain and part of a recovery regime after surgery in hospital, not just a general prescribed item. One receptionist found it very funny at the frustration and inconvenience caused but as the receptionist sits behind a desk and doesn't have to care for the person hands on and see the pain and suffering they have to endure ... why should they care! or maybe they laugh because the Medical Center is such a Joke! | ||||||

I have been with this surgery since i was born as have many of my family and the doctors and staff we had before were outstanding. always willing to help and going that extra mile. in the last few years however bhe service has become poor. getting an appointment is near impossible, and you need to ne badly ill to get an appointment. i am on repeat prescription medication which is vital for me and every time i put in one they mess it up by not giving me the right meds that i have been told i am on. this has happened a few times and every time i have had to ring up and complain. If things continue in this way i will be going elsewhere. | ||||||
