I found the staff very arrogant, unprofessional and with a fixed mindset of denial. They would neglect the needs of the patient and then when you enquire, they would always twist the story in their own favour, covering up their mistakes. They have 2 standards: one for white patients (which to be quite frank is quite inadequate in itself) and another even worse for non-white patients. When it was established, it was good, but now it is just like a business to squeeze as much money out of patients. They don't care about people's needs. Rather, they see them as a hindrance . Instead of solving the problem, they are just passed around like a parcel. An independent enquiry is urgently needed to examine their lowest service as right now the management of this surgery is a complete waste of public funds. Their panel of doctors are often absent enjoying holidays and the temporary staff might as well not be there. |

Why isn't the practice getting back to normal working, i.e. patients able to make appointments on line for a face-to-face consultation with a GP. We are all well aware of the difficulties during Covid, but we can visit our dentists, chiropodists, hairdressers etc. etc. no problem, so what is the hold-up with the GPs? We can be directed to A & E, where we sit in a waiting room along side other patients, so why not the doctor's waiting room? I sincerely hope that the present system is not going to be the future norm. We are entitled to be returning to the previous appointment system now, even though that was detriorating rapidly, where we had to wait approximately 3 weeks to see a GP. |
