I came to the surgery to book an urgent appointment for my 2 year old. I was told by the receptionist that I shouldn't be coming to surgery to book an appointment. She started lecturing me abruptly about using telephone to book an appointment instead of coming in. Surreal experience. This is why most of the time we use private healthcare. You cannot get through on the phone , my wife tried ringing , 27th in the queue. From my perspective as a patient they can be as well shut down as I am never able to use their services in a timely manner. This surgery is a waste of a taxpayers resources. Dealing with this GP Practice is always stressful amd humiliating experience. |

Not on par with national average due to issues within the practice, and far to many people in the town going backwards and forwards to other countries so a nightmare for the staff to cope with it, think it’s about time another practice was opened to cope with this influx of foreign workforce up at the direct empire of Mr Ashley to relieve the pressures put on our local surgery |

I have attended this surgery all of my life and have always received excellent care. However, I have never been as impressed as I have been this morning at an appointment for my 10 year old son. The doctor in question was outstanding. He was kind, understanding and well informed of my sons medical history. He listened to my son and treated him with respect and dignity. It was completely refreshing to encounter a young doctor who really tried to speak to my son on his level. In all of my years of attending appointments with my son, which are often difficult and distressing, never has my son walked out of the room so content. So the doctor, in the words of a my little boy, you are the best Doctor ever! |
