I have returned to the area after 5.5 years being posted to Manchester due to work . I have had several appointments with one particular doctor & she has been exceptional . She is very attentive and patient . You do not feel rushed in any of the appointments . She is very informative and helpful with matters that deal with not just physical ailments but also mental well-being as my professional career is extremely pressurised and I manage high risk projects . At every visit with her I leave the surgery feeling positive and very pleased with the medical guidance received . She is an asset to the surgery and I would thank the Surgery for the Service I have received this far . |

This is quite possibly the worst service I have ever received. Firstly, getting through to the reception to either book an appointment or simply talk to someone takes about 25 minutes of calling (it there are more than 10 people in the queue, you get hung up on) and then a further 25 minutes on hold. Once you get through, the staff are rude and inconsiderate. They make you feel like you are a hypochondriac and that you have no right to be requesting an appointment. Furthermore, when you move house less than 0.5m from your previous address, they automatically take you off their systems with no warning (not even marking it on the record when you go there to request a delay on them pushing you out) leaving a 2 year old with no way of getting an appointment and being told to go to the walk in centre which currently has a 3 - 4 hour wait. Even when we did manage to get an appointment in the past, it’s only ever been with the urgent care nurse, never a doctor, and they simply google (yes, they google in front of you!) your symptoms and explain they have no idea and just to wait it out. |
