Poor service, we had discrimination and my family member did not get the right treatment for there condition, ever since this poor treatment my family members health and lifestyle ruined, going to this surgery has ruined everything, ( including data) |

My wife has had severe allergies to Warfarin due to the colour of the pills and we have had difficulty in finding a white uncoated uncoloured warfarin pill. A trainee doctor at the surgery took quick and caring positive action when we located a white warfarin tablet, to ensure that my wife was immediately admitted to Hospital to undergo allergy testing which resulted in no reaction. Her speedy and timely action has enabled my wife to start the medication which had been delayed for four months by other Hospitals in the region who are concerned with her heart condition and pending open heart surgery. What the GP did may have extended her life or even saved it, and Castle Street surgery needs to be complimented upon her presence of mind and positive actions. |

Whilst the GP's when you finally see them are caring, sensitive and complete their job to the best standard, the facade prior to this is appalling.
The receptionist is without doubt the rudest lady I have ever met and needs some serious training in customer care. Whilst (eventually) on the phone to book in appointments, it is alarming to hear other calls being taken in the background detailing patients data - surely not GDPR compliant? When questioning a previous appointment, there was log of this even on the system regarding what was discussed etc - pretty alarming do you not think?
I have been a member of this practice since my birth and after the last 6 months of unsatisfactory treatment I and my family certainly will not be returning! |
