I had to see Charlie the practice nurse today . As an older lady with an embarrassing problem he was absolutely kindness himself .. He was so compassionate I could have almost cried. Thank you Charlie your parents must be very proud of you ! | ||||||

I was transferred over here during the merger with the Phoenix Practice. To start with it seemed ok & good opening hours. They then changed the opening hours and it's become impossible o get appointment, even for urgent matters. You have to start calling at 8am but the lines are regularly not switched on in time, or they cut you off again. Can take over an hour to get through and by then you're lucky to get anything as people queue in person at the surgery and get the slots. While I do like the Doctors, the rest of the staff are incompetent. They have refused me prescriptions because THEY miss calculated when the dose would run out, then argued with me and were going to leave me without my inhaler for a MONTH. It took 3 of them too figure out they had gone it wrong (after MUCH explaining by me). They DO NOT call you with test results, but get annoyed at you calling up to check every day. I have been waiting for urgent results, they promised they could call then never did. Most recently, I have trailed all the way to see a specialist in Sheffield (given I currently have severe mobility problems) only to find once I'd got there they have cancelled my appointment and DID NOT tell me, all because I had enquired about going private for a 2nd opinion (which I did not do, leaving me with NO appointment at all). When I called to find out why the Receptionist was very curt, uncaring and did not care I was stood outside a hospital in Sheffield crying my eyes our because after SIX MONTHS of constant pain they had cancelled the only appointment that could tell me what the problem is (I actually don't know what's wrong!). They made a SERIOUS error here and won't even admit they did anything wrong, but hey, it's only the patient that suffers. | ||||||

my partner as had two appointments cancelled now he as diabetes its a joke that surgery he as lost two days holidays at work now because they dnt know what there doing its important to be checked all they do is mess him about | ||||||
