I have been with the practice for around 25 years. Receptionists are always friendly and helpful. It is usually easy to get an appointment within a day or two as long you don't need specific busy times (these can take a little longer but not too bad). I regularly meet with the practice nurse as part of my diabetic care and feel well supported. |

Ethos filters down from the top and the senior partner can be a little blunt, overbearing and pedantic. Also ultra-cautious about diagnoses and very cost-conscious when prescribing, probably for all the right reasons but seemingly unsympathetic where obvious and painful symptoms could be alleviated prior to the return of sample test results.
Because of this (perception) I elected to wait for a female GP to be available, having returned a requested urine sample 5 days earlier, which was provided, labelled and bagged at the practice reception. I was in considerable discomfort with a cystitis infection during this wait but, when attending the appointment, was told no urine sample could be found, either physically, or on the system?
Overall, this made for a poor experience and service. |

Everyone at the Practise is extremely professional and caring. The practise nurse has, over a long period of time, been unfailingly gentle, patient and thoughtful on my behalf. |
