I have attended Eversden (and sometimes Comberton) surgery for approximately 7 years. I have never had a serious health issue to address, but visits for routine pill checks, occasional blood tests, vaccinations, and physical injuries. Overall, the doctors and nurses are caring, ready to listen, and will try to find solutions. As is perhaps common across the (stretched) NHS, they don't necessarily go the extra mile (especially in seeking options for onward treatment) for less immediately serious symptoms or personal life choices - sports injuries and physio-related problems for example, or fertility issues. However, the main reason I have rated the surgery more poorly is due to the very weak service of the receptionists and pharmacy staff. These are the front-facing staff but they present an abrupt, often rude, and generally unhelpful attitude. Unsure why that should be, but in 7 years that I have attended the surgery it has not improved. An effort to address this would vastly improve the overall patient experience. | ||||||

I have been with the Comberton and Eversden surgeries for over 30 years. I have never felt disappointed with the care I have received. The doctors are friendly and approachable and take time to explain information carefully. There are also very proactive and will refer you for further treatment without unnecessary delay. If you need an emergency appointment you ring in and a doctor will call you back. If you need to be seen then you will be offered an appointment on the same day in my experience.This is an excellent surgery and is very well regarded. | ||||||
