My experience at Holt Medical practice as so far been very poor there is no care at this surgery and over 2 weeks to see a doctor when i have told them you are in pain ! Not good . We have not long since moved to Holt and I wish we had stayed where we lived previously where we had very good care . |

Really bad service from this surgery. Two or more weeks for appointment. I have even called before and they were completely booked for three weeks and asked me to call back as they had no appointments. Receptionists are not understanding or friendly, sometimes just rude. When you see a doctor the quality of care is variable. The phone system is unnecessarily long to put you off waiting on the line. They have a monopoly in the area unfortunately and local people have no other choice than to use this awful surgery. |

If I could move to another Practice I would but Holt is the only Practice in the catchment area. It has gone downhill massively in recent years. Months and months of ridiculous 10-14 day waits for repeat prescriptions. Blakeney surgery closed every afternoon. Two week wait to get a GP or nurse to ring you. Can’t get a face to face appointment for weeks. Yet, the waiting rooms are empty! So what’s going on? You can’t get an appointment yet they text you several times to book covid/flu jabs because they get paid extra for doing those so they actually want you then! I have read dreadful and very worrying reviews on here and The Practice Manager must be sick of having to reply to them and trying to convince us that they are taking our concerns on board. I lost a very good friend last year and Holt Medical Practice let her down badly by not listening to her and her family and not referring her to hospital for MRI scans and other tests. In my opinion the Practice needs a complete overhaul and the GPs should be back working fulltime hours again and seeing more patients. The phone system is terrible and sounds like something designed to put you off, talking about unprecedented number of calls, use the website, triage services etc. and after listening to all that you get told you are 19th in a queue. |
