Bemerton Heath Surgery

Trying to get past some of the receptionists here is a nightmare, even if im waiting outside before opening times. Being first in doesn't make a difference it appears, as im always automatically offered triage / phonecall to be seen after everyone else that day. I'm never making appointment for myself, but for my wheelchair using wife. I would love to know how to be offered an appointment during the morning as I see many people stroll in and be offered a spot later same day. What doesn't help is that this practice doesn't understand the concept of booking ahead, as all attempts at any appointment has to be done on that day (ironically) first thing in the morning. Even this morning I tried make nurses appointment for continuing medication course, but had receptionist ask 20questions and tell me the medication should be with chemist later or tomorrow. That wasn't what I asked for , at no point did I ask for their to part prescribe the item. As the nurse likes to keep up with my wifes progress. But I'm glad the receptionist always knows best
