Erskine Practice

Although I have been a patient all my life & always found it to be very good, over the past 2 years it has drastically changed, getting passed the exceptionally rude reception staff is next to impossible, they demand to know why you need a doctor, and decide if your reason is good enough to allow you to talk to one, they are no longer receptionists they have took on the role of protecting the doctors from patients, I am unsure if there is actually any doctors still working from this practice as the receptionists now appear to be acting doctor and nurse. The doctors if there is any must know that their patients are being bullied and unable to get any medical help from a qualified person, but they are happy to neglect their duty of care to their patients. I recently managed to get an appointment with a nurse, but this nurse has gone through a complete personality change, I have seen her in the past and always found her to be nice, but she was extremely unhelpful, rude and refused to treat me due to the fact I am exempt from wearing a mask which she is very well aware of my condition and valid reasons for this exemption, her refusal to treat me left me very distressed. What on earth has happened to our health care? Why is GP's in hiding? Why are they not consulting now? Has the entire practice staff gone on a course on how to upset and degrade patients? If so they must have all passed with flying colours.
