Saltoun Surgery

My dad has lung cancer and needs blood tests done every 3 weeks for his chemo but according to the receptionist the nurse are to busy and they don’t deal with Aberdeen ari . The surgery is a total joke the receptionist decides who seen who’s not who’s living and who’s cannon fodder the place is aways empty but the doctors rushed of their feet the nurses are amazing with my dad sack the rest let the nurses run it

Tried contacting the surgery the phone ribgs off hook, went to hospital they would not let me in and told me that i had to cobtact surgery, went into surgery their was 6 staff tgeir phone was ringing i said to girl you should answer tgat she just ignored me, dont know what they were doibg as no one in waiting area so they were walkibg about doing not a lot, couldnt get an appointment even though i pointed out no one was tgeir, still said they were no appointments better off going to see the vet at least they will answer phobe, dont know if NHS is aware how usless this surgery isand need to do something about it

I don’t have a issue with the staff (doctors or nurses) and reception staff themselves as they are always polite when I eventually get through or an appointment but actually getting them to answer the phones is an actual nightmare! I’ve been trying since Thursday so this will be day 3 to get a phone appointment even in regards to my issue but when the phone isn’t engaged it just rings off so not very professional at all really. Tried doing an online consult but I think it was in error as I literally went round in circles on it getting asked the same odd random questions nothing to do with what I was typing about 6 rounds before I reset and started again about 5 times I tried this and gave up. I don’t see my issue warranting an emergency but that is ridiculous and I know they have been advertising for doctors but it’s not the doctors who answer the phones it’s one of the 20 reception/admin staff they allegedly employ.
