Home Care Information |
Choice Care is an independent company based in Blackburn and provides a wide range of care to people of all ages in their own homes 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The main focus being to help people live independently in their own home. Providing care for a person can include help with their personal care, getting washed and dressed, prepare meals, helping to maintain their home the way they want, take medication, do shopping, accompany a person to an appointment, assist GP&s and Nurses and much more. We work with private individuals and their families, Blackburn County Council, East Lancashire Hospice, the Clinical Commissioning Group, insurance companies, solicitors, residential and nursing homes, doctors, nurses and other health professionals. Choice Care is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission and you can see our inspection reports on their website. We are also inspected as a preferred provider with the Council to ensure that we meet their high standards. There are so many reasons both why an individual of any age may need some level of care, or were a family&s individual circumstances make it difficult to provide care. We know from our own personal experience how difficult it can be for those involved, and we understand that if a person&s care is to be provided successfully it has to be on the basis of meeting their needs and those of people close to them. The internet is the modern &shop window& for businesses and we hope that we have struck the right balance between presentation and giving you the actual information that you really need to know to help you make an informed choice when looking for care. After all, it should be your care, your choice, the way you want it, when you need it. |

The two carers who came to my husband were outstanding.
He was terminally ill and had been discharged from hospital as fully independent and mobile, which was completely untrue.
They showed great compassion and were very considerate of his needs. Much more than the ward he had been on.
I cannot praise them enough and have to say in the 14 months he was ill nowhere in hospital was he treated with the dignity, respect and care that two members of staff gave him.
They are two very special people and it is rare today to get someone like them. Could do with people like them in the health service.
Sadly my husband passed away in April shortly after we had your services. But I am pleased he got to meet them. Reply from Choice Care Tue, 02 Aug 2016 15:51:23 +0100 Thank you for your comments which I will pass on to the staff whom I know will ppreciate your comments. It is important to me both personally and professionally that we all do our best for the service users we provide care to. Just today we received word that we have acheived the Six Steps End of Life accreditation that took some 2 years to attain. Thank you again for your comments. Tracie Scholes Registered Manager. |
