Apr 29 2015 We had never had any contact with carers so it was all new to us. My husband had a progressive lung disease and the carers came in initially twice a day. They cared for him beautifully and with respect and he did look forward to their visits. They would do anything he asked - if he wanted a shower they would give him one, if he just wanted to be washed they would do that. I heard him one morning say just as they arrived 'Here comes trouble'! which showed how comfortable he felt with them. Thank you to those who came during the week and for the other carers who came at the weekend. It so helped me as I was finding washing, showering and dressing him a strain on me. They would always see him to his chair and make sure he was comfortable before they left. Angels in disguise. Thank you so much for your kindness to him in what was a very difficult and sad time for us both. Have just recommended Everycare to someone who phoned me to find out your name as I had said how great the service was.
