Crown Home Care Ltd

Crown provided an excellent service for us for just under three years, after my mother was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. Initially they provided one main carer, who would sit with mum while I went out to work. After mum had a stroke with affected her mobility, they sourced a live in carer initially and then provided daily care visits to help me look after her at home, which I was determined to do. Anyone who has experienced dementia in a loved one will know only too well that the situation can never be perfect because of the nature of the illness, but due to the kindness and professionalism of this agency and its carers, I was able to keep my mother at home with me to the end of her life. Carers always turned up on time as planned (any changes to the schedule were always advised) and when there were some particularly difficult issues to deal with, the agency office staff tried to change times and accommodate as far as they could. I will always be grateful for the service provided by this organisation, without which things could have turned out very differently.

With my father's health deteriorating we were recommended Crown to provide live in care, and just six months in, we have absolutely no regrets with Crown. In fact we couldn't be happier with the levels of care, support and professionalism. The care package was professional created post several meetings with my parents, sister and brother and then instigated in very short order. We have two main carers for my father who are both wonderful, really hard working and look after his every need, as well as providing general help and company for my mother. Basically the support provided has enabled my parents to stay in their own home which was very important to them. All Crown carers are highly trained and always act promptly to escalate any areas of concern to the head of Crown who in turn escalates these concerns to myself. They have also contacted medical services on several occasions when prompt action was required. I have every faith in them. The standard of care is excellent and I would unreservedly recommend Crown to anyone who requires care for a loved one in their home.

I have been using 24/7 live in care for my parents who suffer with Alzheimer’s for a few months now. The office staff have been extremely helpful and have personalised my parents needs with the appropriate carers. These carers have been attentive, taking care not to take away my parents independence and they actively encourage normal living conditions. I have found them to be honest, caring, hardworking and willing to take on as little or as much as is required. I would whole heartily recommend ‘Crown Home Care Ltd’ as a real alternative to placing your loved ones into a care home. I have seen such an improvement in my parents since they have been cared for together in their own home.
