The employee's of this company are nice but that's were the good points end. They would change appointment times with no notice. Would leave a mess when they had been in. As for the management. They were rude, rough with the client and tried to leaves us in trouble with no care cover only giving 1 weeks notice. It was only because the intervention of the BHS and a lovely new care company that saved us. Wouldn't recommend!

This company does have, amongst its employees, just a couple of good carers but they are highly unlikely to retain such staff. Overall the company is very badly led and conveys a message of "could not care less"!! They send a constant stream of different carers to their clients. They are frequently late for visits, and sometimes fail to appear at all - leaving the client to chase the company for an explanation! Contacting them by telephone is highly frustrating. Sometimes, they respond - but far more frequently they do not! Callers are advised to leave a message and are told that Bridge-it will get back to them within 2 hours ...... ha ha ha!!! That simply does not happen because, more often than not, the "office" staff are out trying to cover calls that cannot be met by routine carers due to staff shortages! As for the "out of hours" phone number - well, just do not expect that to be answered! Sadly, overall, this is not a kind, caring or compassionate company. The result is that families are left worrying about the standard of care a relative is receiving. This review could end up becoming just a very long list of everything that is wrong with Bridge-it. However, having been through the process of looking for care providers for not just one but two separate members of my family, I know that honest reviews can be a huge help. Therefore, I simply want to stress that our experience with this company has been awful and I would genuinely advise anyone looking for homecare to avoid Bridge-it Options at all costs.
