I have been waiting several yrs to see a pain specialist,I suffer from Arthritis and other problems in that field, I was coping with pains med and a walker and help from my husband and so I did not push too hard esp with the delays around covid etc. However I have suffered severe thigh and buttock pain since end January and getting worse all the time so I did e mail literally beg to be seen as I cannot take much more of this 24/7 pain and it is excrutiating...the worse I have ever felt for this long.....I did however get in then (after explaining this ) quite quickly..(2 weeks)...and am awaiting an appointment for an injection into the muscle which hopefully will help, if it does not then I do not know where I go from here.......anyway I have always been dealt with politely, (except just once).....and I have great faith that I am going to be helped, also I got in really fast to see Dr Brian McNamara for a nerve conduction test, and his assistant Michael was amazing .....I cannot praise them enough....I now just wait for the call about my injection...
