My Daddy was admitted to this hospital in the evening of the 15th July 2019 for rest bite care, he had dementia and was very upset. My sister was with him until the end of visiting and was told she had too leave. Daddy asked her to stay as he said he was going to die, my sister left him couldn’t get any other family in to sit with daddy to calm him down, as she was told visitation has ended. She rang at 10pm I believe they told her he had settled down and fallen asleep. My daddy didn’t wake up he died at 00:41 alone. Nothing can bring my daddy back but surely for a scared 82 year old his daughter could of stayed with him. What devastates me is the thought of my Daddy scared and no family with him when he died. I am sorry for this negative response as the reviews I read was what a nice hospital the Dilke is. It wasn’t for me my lady’s thoughts of my daddy is he was scared and alone.
