A AND E informed us no-one would see a doctor until theyd been there 10 hours. My husband went in to have heart check but was deprived of sleep through the night and his medication.It was third world. People were falling asleep and the staff emphasised no-one would see a doctor for 10 hours. To know how long it would take the doctors made you feel it was deliberate

I came for a cortisol check at the piu ward but in order to have this test I had to be free of steroids so for a few days beforehand I had to give up my steroid sprays having copd it wasnt easy and on the actual day I was very ill the staff on the ward were absolutely brilliant they did the test then asked for a doctor to come and help me as my oxygen levels were ranging 89%-91%the doctor came prescribed me antibiotics and steroids the doctor by the way was also brilliant but I cant mention the names of any of the doctors or staff or the review wont get printed I would like to take this opportunity to thankyou all for what you did I couldnt breath properly and had trouble talking (you dont realise how much air you need to talk until you lack the capacity) your help made for a bad day a lot easier and im now on the mend with out your help and intervention the day could have been a lot worse even fatal thankyou phil

Took my son in tonight after being told to wait 3 hours for an ambulance when he was experiencing difficulty breathing and wheezing from his chest. To get there and be seen initially quick and then for them to say the wait for the doctor was 9 hours. Stating that theyve only 4 doctors covering the whole of the hospital not just the A&E department. Waste of taxi money that could have been used to get to the gp tomorrow. Absolutely appalling. They should state the wait times before admittance. Especially when it comes to children.
