On holiday in The Lakes over the Christmas period I had a slightly worrying dizzy spell which I couldn't completely shake off for several days. I eventually decided I needed to see someone about this and visited the Walk-in Emergency Treatment Department during the late morning of Friday 21st December. I was quickly seen by a junior nurse who began taking readings and observations, a few minutes later a more senior nurse continued the assessment. Shortly after that I was seen by the duty doctor who gave me a thorough examination and was able to reassure me that I hadn't had either a stroke or a T.I.A., which my wife and I had worried were possibilities. The whole experience was speedy, efficient, professional and caring. I can't thank you enough and feel you deserve praise when we all know you are working under such difficult circumstances and when the press and others seem to permanently give you a hard time. Well done and keep up the good work! Original Comment Report... |
