Visited my 88 year old mother tonight . I’m yet to assess the quality of the nursing care but a health care assistant was so rude and unprofessional tonight that I am certainly feeling concerned about the care . I do hope this wasn’t a ‘normal’ approach with the rest of the multi disciplinary team . I Left the ward and burst into tears . Will obviously be discussing further with sister/matron on Monday . Absolutely understand that all NHS providers are stretched at the moment ( what with being a specialist nurse myself) - but really so disturbed by this HCA’s attitude . |

Truly grateful! Reply from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust Fri, 04 Oct 2019 07:44:55 +0100 Thank you so much for this lovely feedback. I have cut and pasted your words into an email and sent it to the Matron at Westminster Community Hospital so that she can share your lovely thoughts with the team there. Wishing you all the very best for your recovery |
