My son had an appointment to see the doctor, but not only did they examine my son with great care! they also noticed my eye was all red and gave me an emergency appointment to see them on the same day! What a wonderful doctor! 5 stars absolutely fantastic!

I cannot praise the staff and team involved in my operation and aftercare during my stay at Ormskirk Hospital in July 2017. The surgical team and ward nurses provided a really comfortable and relaxed approach in preparing me for my surgery. They all were able to answer my questions and provided timely updates on when I was expected to go to theatre. The surgeon and their team demonstrated professionalism throughout and I was constantly reassured as to next steps which made me feel like I was in capable hands. The hospital ward was really clean with daily cleaning visible. All nursing staff on the ward were helpful/ understanding and nothing was too much trouble. This practice was consistant across all shift patterns. The physio team lead was excellent. Every stage was clearly explained and what the benefits were. They were personable and had a lovely manner which encouraged my progress. Overall I would rate this experience of Ormskirk hospital as an excellent example of care. All that I met were a credit to the NHS service and deserve to be recognised and complimented on their performance.
