I was in extreme pain on Sunday morning (31July 2016) and rang 111 to get advice. After answering some questions I was told that a doctor would contact me within 2 hours. The doctor called me within a few minutes and invited me to Buckingham Community Hospital within half an hour. I was seen immediately by a doctor who diagnosed a kidney infection and gave me lots of advice and a prescription for antibiotics. I only wish I had taken the doctor's name because the doctor was brilliant, friendly, empathetic, courteous and supportive. It is so reassuring to have access to this type of service in Buckingham and I'd like to thank everyone involved, 111 service and the doctor for such excellent service.> Original Comment Report... |

I was most impressed by the professional manner in which I was treated. Before any treatment was recommended, full details of my background, lifestyle and any surgery etc. was compiled after which a physical examination followed. Based on that, the Senior Physiotherapist, demonstrated the most appropriate exercises that I should undertake on a daily basis to improve my back strength and alleviate the pain from which I regularly suffered. After carrying out what the physiotherapist had requested I do, they were able to see a marked improvement on my second visit 6 weeks later. The consultations were not rushed and it was very clear that they treat physiotherapy as a vocation and not just a job !> Original Comment Report... |
