Oct 14 2014 My wife and I decided it was time we went on holiday to relax and have a change of enviroment. We contacted Richmond Court for a short term stay for my mother (1 week). We went to view the service and we were happy with the detail in care and support that the home offered. We were impressed with the knowledge of management who also gave us useful information about the on set of dementia. I would recomend this service for short and long term stay. My mother was upgraded to an en-suite room with no extra top up fees which was a nice bonus (especially being a private client!). Mother enjoyed her stay there and did make friends with the other residents and care staff. Although my mother was happy to come back to her own home she was pleased with the service. I did read through the short term care plans which were very detailed including life history and likes and dislikes - what pleased us was the amount of effort made to write such a detailed care plan for a short term stay.
