Jan 10 2014 I go for day respite at Oakwood Hall and have done for several years, its a pleasant environment with a beautiful garden. The last 18 months have been really difficult for me due to severe stress in my life combined with serious mental health problems. I have found the staff to be really supportive to me. I have had good telephone support from many staff members when I have been distressed and struggling to cope. My key worker has been a real star. They are extremely kind, caring and professional, and has been a wonderful support to me when I have been really ill. I am extremely grateful to have been given such good care and treated with compassion.
