Apr 3 2015 I have had experience over the past seven years with respite care and recently residential care for my 100 year old mother. Respite care is an excellent way to get a true idea of how well or badly a care home is operated. It is in this way we discovered that Goldenley was the best in our opinion so that when residential care became necessary we could make the right choice. Goldenley has a committed team of lovely carers who you can tell relate to the residents and feel and are sensitive to their needs. There are lots of activities, good facilities, the door is answered promptly and there is always a senior to chat to about concerns. Thoroughly recommended.
