Caradoc House Residential Care Home

My mother has been resident at Caradoc House for nearly 2 years. I have always found the staff to be kind, even-tempered and attentive to the needs of residents, and the atmosphere is calm and unflustered.. My mother and the other residents always appear well cared for, and the rooms always seem clean and tidy. Mealtimes are a treat as there is an emphasis on well-prepared, home-cooked food. In a large Edwardian house and with 11 residents the feeling is very much one of a large family rather than an institution, which is ideal for residents with dementia. The house has been significantly improved recently with en-suite facilities added to upstairs rooms, and further improvements are planned. There is little in the way of outside space but there are pleasant views of the South Shropshire countryside from many of the rooms. Overall I have been very thankful for the care which my mother has received at Caradoc House, and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
