Phoned 111 in terrible pain and close to tears day before Christmas. Was told emergency dentist would ring me back...and they didn't!! Had to buy temporary tooth filling compound but still couldn't eat. This service is beyond useless.

They only give you antibiotics. They don't do fillings or extractions. They don't give pain relief.

I have a massive phobia of dentists & have not long moved into the area so have had to ring up in tears as iv a swollen face,have not been able to eat for couple of days,being sick and in absolute agony so I consider it an emergency and desperately need to be seen at a walk in hence visiting this NHS walk in page.absolutely disgusted and let down when iv rang in tears to be told "it's not a walk in centre ".in situations where people are needing to ring this number they must be in desperate need of help to find out its not as advertised.it's incredibly upsetting realising you're not going to get the help you Need!!please can this be rectified
