I have recently joined this dentist with my mum as we hadn’t been to an appointment in around a year. Me and my mum saw the same dentist. He seems to be a dentist who is purely focussed on money and not the patients and their concerns, he was immediately trying to sell everything to us as soon as we sat in the chair. He was a charmer in the first appointment - explaining the history behind the dentist, but already urging us to write good reviews and rate our experience when we had literally been in the room for 2 minutes and just met him for the first time. During the next few appointments we had for other treatments he became rude, agitated and abrupt, making my mum cry after not listening to her and being snappy with her when she was in pain. My mum had two fillings done with him and he didn’t seem to do them properly, additionally he hurt her with the tools and wasn’t delicate or considerate, as rather than apologising when she expressed pain he merely shooed her away to another room with another dentist. He offered me Invisalign treatment since braces were not an option for free on the NHS, but after consideration I decided that it was just too expensive at over £1000 for a 3/4 month course. I mentioned to him at the next appointment that I just couldn’t afford it. He seemed agitated by this and was purely offering it for the money, after I said that I would not mess him around, he remarked: “nobody messes me around”. Receptionists and other assistants were pleasant, kind and helpful, whereas he was not. I will not be using this dentist anymore.
