Spoke to a receptionist about an emergency and was told abruptly that I had to call back in the morning - which was an outright lie as I called back a few mins later and spoke to another, more courteous member of staff who booked me in for the next day, she also offered me the same afternoon which I couldn’t make. Life is busy enough hence the need to go private in the hope this might afford a little flexibility and courtesy. Not the case here, there is still at least one receptionist who prefers to conform to the stereotype of GP/dental surgery receptionists. The world has moved on and there are some people who value customer service. Regrettably, after this treatment I will take my custom, and that of my family’s elsewhere.
