My friend and I are delighted to have been placed on the NHS waiting list for this polite friendly, professional and enlightened dental practise. All the staff we met that busy market day for emergency treatement were reassuringly impressive. From the friendly receptionist with her warm, professional,clear and reassuring telephone manner to the dentist’s assistants my friend was treated with the utmost care,respect,attention to detail and reassuringly was given the extra time to cope necessary for whom mobility is an issue and strong pain killers makes inevitably intellectually foggy. All the staff had time for us which was most welcome and made my friend’s treatement a breeze. Made vulnerable by complex physical illnesses I was delighted and reassured these were being addressed, for example, he was given a glucose drink to build up his strength before treatment something I have never experienced before. Even as we left the staff were still expressing their sincere concern for his welfare by checking he was feeling ok. The staff are a delight and as we left we were thrilled to have found such a professional reliable service. No longer shall we worry about finding a good dentist locally. I could not recommend this dentist enough. The waiting room is light calm and airy and their are two entrances to enable those with mobility issues. We accessed the staircase off the main thoroughfare on a busy market day but as we ascended the hussle and bustle of the weekly market down below was soon left behind as we alighted into the calm atmosphere of this newly refurbished building. On a practical level there were no hidden charges and the treatemrnt options were clearly explained to us. On a very hot day when we were all melting even our fumbling for change and a bank card that worked was not treated as a problem. We were put at our ease every step of the way and the staff’s kindness and patience has totally eroded any memories of the less than helpful attitude of unenlightened dentists of years ago. I hope anyone else frighten of the dentist reads this detailed review as do the staff.

The practice is very busy but as one of a handful in the area treating NHS patients that is to be expected. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming and put a nervous patient like me at ease. All my options were discussed and leaflets provided about treatments available. The treatment I received by both the Dentist and the Therapist was wonderfully pain free.
