I was delighted to get a check-up appointment (which was only cancelled once) as I have been with this surgery since I was a child (over 50 years) & did not want to change, so I hung on! I had to wait rather a long time but this was completely understandable due to the lack of dentists at the surgery due to one leaving because of a health problem & the other retired. I needed a small filling replaced & a little cleaning. Superb service from the temporary dentist who is helping the practice while they are struggling to fill the vacancies. He explained things & was very efficient, as was the dental nurse. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful too. Thank you.

This particular dental surgery has some acute problems, which are by no means limited to them. It is of course frustrating to get continual cancellations and "sorry for the inconvenience, but we're doing the best we can". However, I cannot fault the receptionist at Trewirgie (don't know his name unfortunately), who I phoned yesterday. He was more than helpful, and clearly went out of his way to make sure that he solved my problem. As far as I am concerned he was a star - and I told him so. Well done that man!
