Dr Hamdi is the best doctor I have ever had. He’s doesn’t make you feel like just a number. He shows genuine concern for each and every patient. May Allah reward him for his brilliant service. Thank you so much.

I suffer from stomach problems and this has been the case for the last 7 years. Earlier this week my stomach problem flared up and I was in absolute agony. I suffered for 2 days trying to resolve the issue at home but none of my medicines were helping. On the 3rd morning I called the surgery just before 10am. Now I know this is not the correct time as I should have rang at 8am but as I did not sleep all night due to the pain I dozed of and didn't awake till now. The receptions who answered my call was very well spoken and asked why I called so late for an emergency appointment so I explained how my stomach issue had kept me awake the night before and I was sorry to call at this time but I was left with no option. This receptionist was extremely well spoken and very understanding. She listened as I explained my symptoms and went the extra mile by assuring me that I would be seen by a doctor that morning. On arrival at the surgery I recognised the voice I had spoken to as she was speaking to other patients with the same well spoken kind voice. I made an observation that this well spoken receptionist spoke to all the patients whilst I was waiting to be seen as if she knew them personally. I could hear the same compassion in her voice as she spoke to these patients as I heard it in her voice when I spoke to her earlier that morning. My doctor was fantastic who saw me and showed me compassion and took his time as he saw me. He advised me to go to reception and book a follow up appointment. This time I spoke to the same receptionist face to face and I must say I was very impressed in the manner she spoke to me yet again. She also asked how my stomach was and spoke to whilst booking the appointment. Wow I was impressed she remembered my problem. She went the extra mile and told me how her family member also suffered from stomach problems and how they changed elements in his diet and perhaps if I wanted to I could try it as it helped her family member. This wasn't anything from a clinical aspect but some things like using less spices eating smaller meals more often. She made me feel like she was genuinely concerned and at no time did she make me feel I was exaggerating my issue. A very helpful caring receptionist who was very well spoken. Thank you for your time that day to all who I came into contact with 25 feb. That includes the caring well spoken receptionist and the fantastic doctor I saw. I hope I do not offend anybody this receptionist beats all by far in her tone manner and approach. I'm sure all reception staff are just as lovely but probably not as well spoken and professional. Once again a big thank you words are not enough to ecpressive how grateful I am to you all.

While I do not go to this surgery, my partner does. And I will never sign up to it. Their experience has always been one of woe. Getting seen; everytime, at their sister branch on the other side of bedford maybe in a 3 week notice period or more. So whats the point in signing up here when you just get pushed a few miles away - past some much better revioed gps? None. Go to another surgery - save yourself the bother.

I am sorry that you felt it necessary to comment on our practice and the lack of access. We are always willing to discuss our appointment system and, when patients register they are told they can make an appointment at both sites. If there are no appointments available on one of our sites the other site is always offered as an alternative to the patient.
