I have specific allergies & require the AZ booster. I've had a real fight trying to get this surgery for 8 weeks now to arrange it. I've been lied to & fobbed off by several unsympathetic couldn't care less receptionists. The rudness I had yesterday was appalling & very unprofessional. The AZ referral form was sent to Letchworth twice unsigned by the doctor so Lefchworth had returned it to them.y All I needed to know was has Letchworth received it now. this surgery has actually made me feel ill,distressed,worried & upset. I was made to feel that I am unimportant & feel I am banging my head against a brick wall. They don't listen. My experience has been terrible & 8 weeks later I still have not had my booster jab sorted.

Unfortunately, I have been at bridge cottage since I was little around 22 years now. My care from them has been appalling and I am genuinely concerned whenever I have to see them for an appointment. Although some of the doctors are lovely and engaging, the majority do not even look up from their computer screens unless needed to examine or perform a task. The mental health support is disgusting, particularly for teenagers. To top it off the secretary’s are rude and abrupt, something which you think would be the complete opposite considering they are the first point of contact for sick and often vulnerable people.

I decided I’m ready to stop smoking. After trying several places on the same day I thought I’d try bridge cottage. I saw the lady at the counter who told me to go to the pod for breath test, which was fine. I asked if I could try champix, a tablet form, she told me to go away and read about it. I did, 4 days later I returned before work, the same lady then said there’s nothing she could do as she was now going on holiday for 2 weeks, great! So I returned 2 weeks later to be told the doctor will ring you. 4 days later on a Friday the lady rings me leaving a voicemail saying the doctor wants to see me and I need to get there by 4pm. She rang at 3 and I couldn’t look at my phone until 3.50 as I was working. I rang her and said I couldn’t get there by 4pm so could I come Monday morning? She then said that the doctor was away till weds. By this time nearly 4 weeks later, I gave up and said, I was ready to give up 4 weeks ago I actually can’t be bothered now, she said ok and hung up. So if you want help giving up smoking don’t go there.
