I received a voicemail asking me to call the surgery, not urgent. I did. I was told I needed to be booked in for a blood test, and blood pressure test as part of the medication review process. Fine. Having failed to officiously slot me into their schedule, I think the receptionist then felt the need to patronise me, and I reacted to their failure to recognise me as an actual person on the end of the phone. "so you don't want it then, it is up to you..." yes it is, I put the phone down. Is there really a need for such rudeness? I would not recommend this surgery. My diminishing confidence in the care offered to me and my family recently has been tested yet again today. Not sure how easy it is, but will investigate moving to an alternative surgery.
