20 years ago the service was ok but as time as gone on it's just gotten worse. Then with the event of COVID well they now just use that as an excuse not to see you. Near enough every appointment I make gets cancelled, some on the day. I made my first appointment in 5 years a few days ago, for the 16/6. A phone call appointment not even a face to face and they have just called me to cancel it. I haven't been offered another appointment, just been told to call in at 8am and hope I can get through. Previously been told I would be referred to the hospital to have a lump on my head looked at. Never heard anything from the hospital. They booked me in for a breath test but screwed that up so in the end I took the day off work for nothing and the test never happened. They just don't want to do anything especially see patients. Yet on their new website they say they are accepting new patients! I assume because the more patients they have the more money they get but what's the point in taking patients and never seeing them when they need help. The new website saws you can go into the surgery to book an appointment but I have been told by 2 reception staff that's not true, they only accept telephone calls at 8am. I was told I could use econsult on their website but you can't as it's not set up. I have also tried to lodge a complaint through the website but the link doesn't work. The whole surgery is a farce and the doctors there are paid £80,000 a year for this. Disgusting.

Rubbish receptionist, who answer before your question finish, terrible terrible service, liars on many occasion to cover up there malfunction, stay away if you can or get done by amateurs

I have just called the surgery. Been waiting for over an hour for them to answer when they do. I spoke to a receptionist who struggled to understand English. When I asked politely to speak to someone else about it. She told me she was alone at the reception desk. And no could help me . I Needed sterile water for my bipap machine. She didn't understand what I was talking about. And told me to call back tomorrow after 9am .when I tried to explain it to her . She abruptly hung up the phone on me . I find it disturbing that they can leave a trainee receptionist alone on her own in the surgery unattended with out a professional member of staff to help her....its not her fault I put the blame the practice manager..ps try again tomorrow..wish me luck
