Unable to pre book appointments unless its more than two weeks in advance.
This is not the service I expect especially when you need to see a specific doctor who has been dealing with your care and you are awaiting test results.
Reception staff are rude and patronising and don't explain the procedures. Basically laughed at me for expecting an appointment with a week to go.
Told to ring on the day which is not convenient, when I have done this in the past I have not been able to get through having been on hold for over 15 minutes and then to be told that all the appointments have gone.
If it wasn't for the great service fro the GP who has been fantastic I would go elsewhere. Rethink your appointment system. | |||||||

I am surprised by the some of the reviews here. This is the best GP practice I have been. If you call at 8am you will get an appointment. In winter of course the GP was very busy.
The Doctors are great, very helpful and supportive. My husband was very ill and they helped us with good advices and referrals. The receptionists and the secretary are always nice. If you move to this area, do not hesitate to use Redwood Practice. | |||||||

I have just tried to get through to the practice. I rang the telephone number at 5:50 and was third in the queue. At 6:58 I was 1st in the Queue - over an hour later, then the phone went dead. This is an appalling service for their patients.
The receptionists are giving out clinical decisions without taking advice and is in effect dangerous.
I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. | |||||||
