I wanted to complain but nothing on your web site so please see the below Over the last 7rl months, my repeat prescriptions have disappeared? I post them in the black box and they seem to evaporate as they never reach the Chemist for collection, I have also delivered one over the counter to one of the receptionists and again this has disappeared? I know the 72 hour rule as I work away a great deal so i have to plan …and am now calling the chemist to confirm receipt prior to making the journey to collect, however if not arrived I call the surgery who do not seem at all bothered that prescriptions are going missing, and have never been logged onto the system. And If I have Ran Out of the meds , all they say is I will raise a new one and log it as urgent , it will be sent out but don’t know when it will reach the chemist , Or I have been told" I am covering today and not responsible, as I am up to date" I am extremely unhappy and incredibly frustrated, at what’s been going on and when I have asked has there been a change in process the answer is no, I can say that if there was a problem previously I used to get a call. Now it looks if there is a problem someone is binning requests rather than trying to sort it?

I just wanted to say how amazing the nurses are at the surgery. I have to see a nurse every other day and she is always so caring and nothing is too much trouble. She is always happy, kind and very helpful. She goes above and beyond in helping me deal with my issue. Thank you

I had to phone asking for an emergency appointment as unable to get one on the days I was off work. Completely down after a month of antibiotics and infection still not cleared, generally unwell and with a nasty rash coming up my hands and neck. When I mentioned these to the receptionist, the first thing she said to me firmly: “ well the doctor can only see you for ONE problem so either your throat or eczema today and you can come back another day for the other “. I was disappointed as I felt no empathy or understanding, first of all both my problems needed looking at asap as really affecting my day to day living and even might be related to each other, secondly I am a nurse myself and I work 4 days a week so it’s difficult for me to get to the doctors as well as it is to work when I’m ill. I shouldn’t be made to feel bad or guilty for asking to see a doctor as well as told not to mention more than one problem, it’s the last thing that someone who’s ill and low needs to hear. I completely disagree with this policy of being discouraged to mention more than one problem to the GP as it’s not what I call holistic approach and also very inconvenient for people who work full time and 12 hrs shifts.

I am so sorry to hear about your experience at Woodlands, and the distress that this has caused. We do try to encourage the '1 appointment 1 problem' policy, but we appreciate that patients may have more than 1 problem to discuss, therefore we would encourage patients to ask for a double appointment. I really am very sorry that you were not offered a double appointment on this occasion. To allow me to look into your concerns further, then please would you contact me on either my direct line on 01295 661295, or via email on deb.chronicle@nhs.net. I will then be able to investigate this matter in more depth.
